Halloween

Halloween this year was pretty uneventful as everyone was a bit tired after the drive home from Cincinnati.

However Jayda still insisted she put on her Foofa costume and we go out for a little while. I, of course, was Dj lance rock.

Jayda returns to Cincy for Birthday

Jayda's return to Cincinnati was almost cut short before it began due to her being involved in a car accident the night before.

Luckily, everyone was okay.  So we were off to Cincinnati!

First stop was to Skyline Chili to meet her uncle Jason and to see Grandma Deldra & Grandpa Keith.

It was late in the evening, especially for Jayda so it was back to the hotel for a quick bath, and then nite-nite time.  This was Jayda's first time in the bathtub w/o using the 'baby bath'.  She's 1 and she's a big girl now!

Jayda knows that the next day is a big day and she needs to be extra clean...

More Cincy & Jayda's 1st Football game

Jayda's 3rd trip to Cincinnati and her first birthday party was a blast!












She got to be the star in a ton of family photos, and got to meet her Uncle Jason.















I'm not quite sure she knew what was going on, but she quickly realized that she was getting a bunch of new "stuff" and she couldn't wait to tear into it.


















There was also a surprise appearance by her favorite television star "DJ Lance Rock of Yo Gabba Gabba"!















After all the birthday excitement, we all got rested up in order to get to her cousin Alex's Championship football game.





His team won, but she wouldn't know...she was knocked out within minutes of arriving. I guess she's not a football fan, yet.














The next day it was time to pack up and head back to "The Lou" but not without a few more parting shots

It takes extreme focus and dedication to learn a new skill. "Focus" is not a skill Jayda has mastered yet...

Jayda's First Birthday(St. Louis edition)

Hard to believe that it's been a year since "snugs" was born, but it has. We had a small gathering in St. Louis to celebrate it!

Jayda had no idea what was going on. All she wanted was a new spoon or toothbrush to carry around...









She was excited about getting a toy truck and loved her laugh and learn kitchen




























She also made it a point to show us that she can stand like a "big girl"









Later we all had cake and ice cream. Of course Jayda had her own.


















Which she quickly proceeded to make a mess of...

First weekend away

I'm a little bit late on my blog updates, but here's the latest in the "Life of Danger"...

Jayda spent her first weekend away from mom and dad by staying with her aunt and uncle in Illinois last weekend.

"Hey mom and dad, where you guys going??"








She also marvels as she can now see the world passing by in her new "big girl" car seat!
